The DSA state, that on average it takes 40hrs of training with a fully qualified driving instructor
to reach test standard in a manual vehicle.
They also state that an additional 22hrs driving is required with a family member or friend
to gain the necessary experience.
|Pre - introduction course for learners who have not driven before and are booking a Driving course|
|1st - 2 hr lesson - introduction to car controls, moving off and stopping.|
2nd - 1½ hr lesson – recap last lesson, full steering lesson.
3rd - 2hr lesson – recap last lesson, approaching junctions to turn left and right.
